Wandering around in Sarasota, Florida, a while ago, the number of crazy patterns in the trees struck me. Staying on the sidewalk assured that no cars struck me.

A trip to Germany last fall gave me the rare opportunity to tour a host of agricultural facilities and locations. As expected, it's not so different here and there. Hard working people feeding the world one potato at a time.
