Aruba's Wildlife

Look, I live in Vermont. The idea of an iguana eating a chunk of melon next to you while you sip coffee is... well, frankly, it's foreign—not terrible, just odd. Seriously, I'm far more used to shooing deer away from my deck than considering a lizard eating a tropical fruit. So, most of these are of cold-blooded, scaled creatures either eating or staring. Yup, there are birds, too, because there's a relatively quiet bird sanctuary on Aruba where we saw more lizards than birds, but still...

So, enjoy this collection of wild creatures, and as always, all photos are available for purchase from my SmugMug site: Aruba's Wildlife
