Bottling day at Hill Farmstead Brewery in Greensboro, Vermont. I ran over after work Friday last to pitch in with bottling duties as best I could. They day's grand total was around 1,100 bottles, all hand filled and hand capped. I helped with a few hundred, and was glad to have been able to do it. The bottles above were destined for one of three barrel-aged versions of Fear and Trembling, a smoked Baltic porter. One in a French oak Napa Cabernet barrel, one blend of American oak Napa Cabernet and Buffalo Trace Bourbon (and Sam Adams Utopias) barrels, and one in a single Buffalo Trace barrel. I assure you, all of them are amazing.

If you're in or near Vermont October 2nd, I can't recommend enough getting to the brewery for the festival where these will be debuted, along with other goodies. Check the brewery site for details.
